PD Modules

PD Modules: PD Modules are select trainings that can range from 1 day - 8 days depending on your individual needs. You are able to select from a robust list of PD topics, and the trainings and materials are ready to be presented to your staff ASAP. Topics have been developed in congruency with the most common identified areas of need for schools, districts and educational staff (see our “home page” for our list of PD module topics).

We have worked hard to ensure that all PD modules support teachers and staff, and that participants walk away with a more in-depth understanding of the concepts taught. We also provide the tools for immediate use in their institutional settings.

Targeted PD

Targeted PD: Our Targeted PD is custom built PD just for you and your educational staff. Often times we take the core of an existing PD module and then tailor it to meet your staff’s specific needs.

Targeted PD gives a customized experience and allows for the school or district to have feedback and input in the deployment of the PD.

Curriculum Mapping

Curriculum Mapping: Curriculum can be overwhelming! Let’s face it, there are limited instructional minutes in a day. When you invite us in to work on curriculum, we work with school staff/teams to look at your existing curriculum and identify what content and skills in each grade level/subject are essential vs. “nice to know”.

Curriculum mapping can serve to both guide and focus teacher’s instruction - as well as increase student outcomes.

Teachers work in teams to break the school year into "chunks" and then develop (through backwards mapping) a pacing guide of essential learning. The resulting document is a clear plan of the content, skills, and assessments for the year.

Once teachers know the “what” that they should be focusing on, they then gain the clarity and freedom for teachers to focus on the “how” they will get their students to where they need to be.

Individual Consulting: As an educational consultant, I specialize in providing personalized and tailored solutions for schools and districts, recognizing that each educational institution has its unique challenges and goals.

My approach is rooted in solid collaboration with educators and administrators to gain a deep understanding of their specific needs and circumstances.

Through this approach, I empower schools and districts to overcome obstacles, improve student outcomes, and achieve their vision of educational excellence, ensuring that every consulting session is a step toward building a more effective future for the entire learning community.

Special Populations: I strongly believe in recognizing and addressing the diverse learning needs of students, particularly those of both gifted and special needs populations.

I work closely with schools and districts to develop individualized strategies that cater to the unique strengths and challenges presented by these students.

For gifted learners, I can help schools/districts offer enrichment programs, advanced curriculum design, and differentiation strategies that foster their intellectual growth and engagement.

When supporting special needs students, I provide specialized teacher training and targeted teaching methodologies to schools to ensure a truly inclusive and accommodating educational environment.

My core goal in this area is to empower schools to create a holistic and nurturing atmosphere where all students can thrive, regardless of their unique learning profiles.
